Prudent Parenting covers a wide range of decision making in the care of youth. This training focuses on how we use Prudent Parenting in supervision decisions. Instructor: Ronnie R Mabou

Ronnie R Mabou has served children for over 30 years. She began to understand the healing power of enrichment as a residential camp counselor. While facilitating horseback riding and other camp activities, she watched hundreds of youth suffering from both physical and emotional trauma, heal and grow through their experiences with nature, animals, art, and play. Ronnie has spent the past 21 years working at Youth Homes in both the residential program, as a residential counselor and then Administrator, and the human resources department, as the training coordinator and now as Director of Standards and Enrichment. Enrichment activities like gardening, photography, and horses have played an integral part of her service provision to the clients, and in her role in the training and professional development of Youth Homes’ employees.
